Publishing Your BLOGS That get READ

This article is about how to create blog posts that get read? We keep things simple.

Our general recommendation is to write for the audience you wish to target.

You probably had read some bloggers telling you to:
-niche down,
-research keywords to target,
-write great content,
-know SEO,
-promote on social media,
-get people to proofread… and more online marketing tips and tricks.
That won’t get your blogs read by your readers.

We are not saying you don’t follow the recommendations above.

They are important and relevant. For this article, we want to focus on two factors only.

These are the TWO IMPORTANT FACTORS that get your blogs read by your audience.

WRITE FOR READERS WHO NEED YOUR BLOGS
You write for readers who need your
-articles,
-stories,
-explanations,
-slides,
-listicles,
-videos, and whichever blog formats you use.

Don’t get too carried away with formats. You focus on the content that your readers need.

You want to over-deliver when it comes to providing the content.

We hear the few popular topics or niches that bloggers talk about: health, wealth, and relationships, the HWR formula. There are thousands of niches over and above the HWR.

Food, music, travel, education, fashions, pets, sports, DIY projects, lifestyle, parenting, mysteries…the list is endless.

You want to deliver content that meets the needs of your readers.

The next most important factor is to:

WRITE YOUR BLOGS FOR YOUR PEOPLE
Write your blogs for your target community. Note the word “target”.

Learn from the fastest animal on land: cheetahs. Despite their fast speed and the hundreds of preys in sight, when they hunt, they focus on one target only.
When you blog, you also want to focus on your target audience.

Promise yourself that you are not writing for every reader on the internet. You will waste a lot of time and effort if you try to blog for every reader.

Before you hit the “publish” button, here are some more tips we recommend:
-know your audience well,
-write for your target audience,
-write in a conversational style, like you are talking to people,
-keep the sentences short and simple,
-write short paragraphs
-keep one thought and one only to each paragraph,
-use a mix of short or long articles, listicles, stories, images, audios, videos, the main thing is to get the point across to your audience,
-review your posts several times before you hit “publish”,
-always make sure your posts are in a format relevant and suitable for your target audience,
-you also want to write for SEO purposes and get search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo to like your blogs.

They’ll reward you by displaying your blogs at the top.
